The Garden Nile Belly Dance Troupe recently completed their "Arabian Nights 4" show at the War Memorial Convention Hall. It was a tremendous success, and the next event is already in the planning stages. We will keep you posted.

Magdy recently won an award for "best musician " in Egypt ...
At 4 yrs old he started to play piano. By 7 yrs old he played piano perfectly. He started a kids program on TV and radio and was famous for a " miracle kid" how he played piano in that early age. At 10 yrs old he became the head of the music team at school . At 12 yrs old he started to play the organ and at 14 he became the first organ player for the most famous singers in the Middle East such as Abdel Halim, Hafez, Om Kalthoum, Farid El Atrash and Abdel Wehab.
Magdy has done a movie called "Aby Foke El Shagara (My father above the tree)" with Abdel Halim.
- By 1971, he was a well know keyboard player.
- In 1972 he graduated Academy Kots Ervoar Music School in Egypt.
- 1977: After Abdel Halim (equivalent to Evis Presley) passed away in 1977, he made the first folklorik group (dancers, musician and singers, total 70 members including Egyptians and Europeans), and performed " East and West Show" with huge success until 1990. They performed all over the Middle East and Europe.
Magdy is now traveling to the U.S. and Canada for his concerts.

- Declared the best Arabic percussionist in North America in 1998.
- Member of the Egyptian Society of Musicians for over 30 years, and still running.
- Worked with most renown musicians, singers & belly dancers in the middle east.
- Have been an organizer and a performer at the Festival De Monde Arabe for 5 years.
- Organized and performed at Celine Dion's wedding at Cesar Palace in Las Vegas.
